Sabrina Bustamante

My name is Sabrina Bustamante, and I am a Freshman at FWHS.  I am involved in Cheerleading, music, and Science.  I play piano and am trying out for Jazz band next year.  I join Cheerleading solely for College but Science is my passion.  I study Physics in my spare time mostly theoretical physics to become a physicist.  My goal in life is to prove string theory and create my own theory.  I hope to expand my education more as high school progresses and take college courses soon.

I joined robotics because I was interested in engineering and programming.  Also, because my science fair was an engineering project so I was referred to robotics.  Then, I thought it would be great for colleve and a new experience.  Robotics is a way for me to become more involved in engineering.  I want to get life skills I can use later on in life, for jobs.  Robotics has impacted me by bringing joy, and it has sparked a new interest in me for programming.

College is a huge part of my life and goals.  Eversince I was little I have wanted to go to college.  Graduating high school is not a big deal for me,  I will be happy when I graduated College.  I decided to study Physics because my role model is Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist.  Physics inspires me to strive in Science and math and to observe all the small things 8 questions how and why.  Robotics makes me more well-rounded in Science and building.

This being my first year in Robotics I plan to do it all through out high school along with my other extra-cirricular activities to be well-rounded for College.  Also, I plan to learn as much as I can this year about programming and electrical to pass on to next year.  Then to utilize those skills for build season.  I hope to use the skills I learn in Robotics in a future job.  Robotics has opened many doors for me and will continue to do so.
